trapped in the land of wind and ghosts and forced to wrestle with bears just to get to the car in the morning, jordan renz embarks on an adventure to occasionally spam up some of his artstuff onto the internets and provide another medium to crucify himself. as soon as he figures out how to do like 90% of the stuff on this thing, the world is screwed.

d20 Future Junk Sketches

d20 Future Junk Sketches

I had to semi-fix up my parents' computer the other day, and also went digging around on there looking for some old art of mine I wanted to transfer off. Ultimately, I ran across this'un,

d20 Future Cast

And it reminded me of those wonderful olden days. The character I created is in the top middle, Ash Cauldwell. It started out with a pretty basic idea and open-to-build background as Matt had been running the entire campaign that way. In time, I came up with a better, more solid idea for what her background was going to be like, and even got to writing up a story arc that would take us through a few weeks to do, and it would explore her genetic heritage as well as give everyone else a good slice of things to do.

Unfortunately, someone else decided to run a story arc before I had mine finished up, and pretty much nosedived the game into the ground. The only way I'd be able to run it now is if I retcon... well, the entire thing. But at the same time, no one wanted to really roll back and we ultimately moved on to something new, so I never got to run it.

I'll probably end up writing something with that arc sometime, as I really liked the way I was building up Ash's character, and I loved Josh, Matt, John, and Rich's characters. We were a pretty diverse group, we all bounced off of each other pretty well, and even with the exploratory grip on the d20 Future rules, we still did pretty good.

Alas, I miss you, game. I wish I could've done The Awesome.
